March 16,2011-isn't Turning Three cute?

McKinley is such a dolly girl right now! She gives the best morning loves and she talks nonstop:). She tells us all about her favorite things--Olivia the pig in books on tv and her stuffed one, tangled the movie and the doll (from her uncle eric & aunt Megan), her tiny kitty that meows from Mamo & grandpa Woodley, her pink dancing leotard from grandma Johnson, Puzzles-the same one over and over, dressing up with her big sisters, reading books and snuggle time for naps, riding her scooter with her best friend Maysen, Swinging for hours-especially 'Underdogs', building tall block towers with her brother Carter, and eating strawberries, chocolate chips, and almonds that she sneaks from the cupboards! What an unforgettable character. Oh how we love her so!

March 2011-Carter is reading so great now!!

We have been working on his letter sounds and site words for awhile now but all the sudden it came together and Carter just took off on his reading! He loves his little books and watching him learn has been such a treat for me as his mom. :)

March 2011-Kennidy violin concert

The whole family came to see Kennidy perform on her violin with the school orchestra! She did great, I really hope she sticks with it. Madison can start next year...

March 2011-Best activity days idea ever!

We talked about how faith is like a little seed and then my friend Heather taught our 25 girls how to plant a little flower seed! Then she took them on a garden tour and at last we released a whole bag of lady bugs I bought at the gardening store. Kennidy wouldn't touch the bugs but Madison and most of the girls had them crawling all over!!

March 12, 2011-McKinley 3rd bday!!

We had five little ballerinas and a prince at our house today for a dance party--because it was McKinley's 3rd birthday!

Kennidy and her dance class friend Madison were the party entertainment and dance instructors! They performed a originally choreographed number to Swan Lake Waltz.

The party food and decorations were mom's favorite part! (McKinley said her favorite party was helping mom make the brownie flower treats!)

March 3-5, 2011 Roadshow Mania

McKinley found her dream princess (and darling babysitter) at our church youth play--Rapunzel! Or better known at our house as 'Tangled', a movie McKinley saw three times in the theater and absolutely loved!
I got to help our ward youth with their stage make up each night before the show--so that helped ease the fact that for the first time in 7 years, I had no major part in the big production! I get to work with Kennidy and Madison now at their little activity days and that is perfect for our family with Chris so busy in his work and calling.
