Luckily I only had to keep the house this clean for a week and a half since it sold so fast. These are the pictures I took right before the real estate photographer came to take professional photos for the MLS listing.

August 2011-SELLING our home!!
After an entire month of partying in July, Chris and I decided that the market conditions were right and it was time to SELL our house! This began an intense two week period where all the kids and I did was clean and 'stage' the house! We power washed, scrubbed walls, painted, sorted, threw out, gave away or packed up two-thirds of what we had in the house to make it look bigger, cleaner, and ultimately more appealing to a buyer. And it WORKED! Our home went on the market August 12th and by August 17th, we had an offer!! (which after a few counter offers, we ended up taking!)

July 27,2011--Climbed Mt Whitney with Chris!
Chris thought we should continue our tradition of adventurous summer trips after doing Havasupai last summer, so this year we hiked Mt. Whitney! We were lucky to have Tana and Marty in town to stay with the kids from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday at midnight. We were invited to come on the youth hike as chaperones. However, after all our youth canceled, we got to invite our friends, Scott and Heather to join us! It was such a crazy one day adventure--hiking from 4:15am to 8:25pm up to 14,500 feet and back down again! Hardest thing I have ever done! So glad to have chris there and friends there to support and make it fun! We actually met the youngest hiker at 7 years old to summit the mountain in one day, so that was good motivation to push through. It wasn't a technical hike at all, just continually uphill and so so LONG!! And it was the downhill that really made your knees sore! What a bonding experience that none of us will ever forget!
July 2011--Pageant of the Masters!
We treated Tana and Marty to a night out in Laguna Beach at Pageant of the Masters where we met up with Larry and Mary too! Matthew even came into town for the occasion!
July 2011--Poppy & Grandma Johnson visit Cali
Chris really wanted his parents to stay at the Marriott Villas in Newport Beach and the only free week happened to be right after our Utah vacation...so we booked it! We biked the boardwalk in Newport, went to the kids' swim meet, and played at the beach where Poppy had a great time teaching the kids big wave riding skills!
July 2011--Baby Liv Ryan Woodley arrives!
Ryan and Jenni had their third bouncing baby girl and we were so excited to meet her now that they are finally moving west to Utah after 7 or so years in Boston!
July 2011- road trip fun!
We always have fun on our road trips to see family. This summer was no exception, at the In n Out in Hesperia we met a man with a pet parrot that stole our girls hearts:)
Carter and Chris were a little unsure but McKinley was pretty brave!

July 2011- Big Reunion Fun
The craziest part of camp was the amazing race portion where we competed as teams while finding clues in the woods and following maps! Of course Chris was thrilled when our team won after a little healthy competition with his cousins!
Our kids had so much fun playing with their second cousins from the Heywood and Krommenhoek families!
And the finale was of course our Campfire meeting where all the families performed their skits and cheered for each other! We were so excited to do the flash mob dance that Annika choreographed and taught us!

July 2011-Extended Johnson Family Reunion at Heber Campground
Every two years the extended Johnson Family gets together for a big reunion that the siblings take turns hosting. This year Uncle Leonard planned two days and one night of activities for all 100 of us up at the Heber City Girls Camp. Emily Krommenhoek and I planned a breakfast together and I learned what a experience it is to feed that many people!
We also loved the ropes course adventure, even Carter did the zip line after taking his turn on the tightrope!

July 2011-crafts with cousins!
Aunt Kari put feathers in all the little girls hair this summer and even Grandma let her put one in hers so I had to let Kari put at least a few rinestones in mine!
Kennidy has so much fun with Bailie and Annika, her two cousins the same age as her! They even made duct tape shoes!

July 2011-Johnson party time in Utah
Late at night after little kids go to bed, the big kids love to sneak out to movies while grandpa and grandma are babysitting!
The kids loved the ropes course at the Provo Beach Resort with their cousins.
Another favorite activity was the open air theater where we saw the new Disney play, Camp Rock!
McKinley's just had to make sure we got some popcorn and she was happy:).

July 2011-Johnson's at Pleasant Grove pool
Chris led the way off the big diving board and 3 year old McKinley was quick to follow!
The rule for going off the diving board was no flotation device or parent holding them and McKinley still went! She did amazing even though she forgot to put her face in water when swimming:)
